Right now, you’re probably not feeling so grateful. If you’re in the midst of a fertility journey, it’s incredibly hard to feel grateful when all you feel is
I get it.
So you might be reading this with a bit of
All you have to do is write down three things you were grateful for today. These could be as simple as your colleague making you laugh, your hubby bringing you a cup of tea in bed or the fact that you made it through the day!
This is about celebrating the little things in your life that ARE going right and there will be lots of them, we just need to be prompted to be more aware of them.
If you can commit to doing this every day, I promise you that within 2-3 weeks you’ll start noticing a difference. It’s not instant and of course, how you feel varies depending on what’s happening in your life, but a daily gratitude practice builds you up from the bottom up. It provides you with a new perspective on your life and gives you strength to fight the big things.
Where do I start?
Start by setting a standard time or day that you will write down your 3 things. For me, this is before bed. Then either get yourself a nice notebook (as beautiful stationery helps everything!) or download our FREE template to write down 3 little things you were grateful for.
What do I write?
You could be grateful for:
- someone in your life
- an action that happened today
- something in nature
- an act of kindness
- something you enjoyed today
- something you achieved today
This is just for you, so write whatever feels right and don’t judge yourself.
On that note, don’t judge yourself if you don’t get to it every day. We all get in and out of habits but just know that this is here for you always when you need a pick-me-up and something you can return to when times are hard.
