Ok I’m not going to sugar coat it, the two-week wait sucks. Even for the most positive person, it’s a very challenging time where you’re just waiting, waiting, waiting for results day and trying to decipher if that’s a faint pink line on your home pregnancy test (HPT) if you decide you just can’t wait for test day.
Following embryo transfer, you generally have to wait around 10-14 days before your doctor or clinic will test your HCG levels to see if you’re pregnant.
After all you’ve been through to get to this point in your IUI or IVF and all the busyness of appointments and scans, it’s a strange time where you’re on your own with your thoughts (which is not fun!)

How listening to a 2ww guided meditation can help
One of the best ways to manage the two-week wait is by listening to a guided meditation or relaxation audio. It can help you to switch off your whirring thoughts for a while, to bring your mind and body into a state of relaxation and can help recharge your positive mindset.
Some days meditating or relaxing will feel hard. You’ll feel like a ‘cat on a hot tin roof’ – unable to stay still and let your thoughts relax, but try surrender to the relaxation and use it regularly to reset you during the 2WW.
Meditation has a ‘compounding effect’ so the more you do it, the more benefit you get so get off Dr Google, stop staring at the HPT looking for pink lines and sit yourself down for a few minutes of ‘fertility calm amongst the storm’ of the two-week wait!
